Women United is more than a group — it’s a community-driven movement powered by women who believe in lifting others as they rise. As a leadership society within the United Way of Marion County, Women United brings together passionate, philanthropic women who are committed to creating lasting change for families in need.
Through Mission 2025: Women United for Strong Families, members unite their time, talent, and treasure to support United Way’s Strong Families Program, which provides parents and caregivers with the tools, coaching, and resources needed to achieve stability, economic independence, and long-term success.
Women United members do not just support the mission — they actively champion it. From volunteering and mentoring to advocacy and fundraising, these women are leading the charge to break the cycle of generational poverty and build a stronger, more resilient community for all.

The Women United Annual Luncheon is an event that brings together local women, community leaders, and change-makers for an afternoon of inspiration and impact. Hosted by the United Way of Marion County, this empowering gathering celebrates connection, purpose, and the collective strength of women working to break the cycle of generational poverty through the Strong Families Program. Guests will enjoy meaningful conversation, uplifting stories, and opportunities to make a difference right here in our community.
